People want to live in peace in order to learn, work, have children, create and share. On frequent occasions, that peace is threatened, preventing those intentions from happening. Here are some resources that will help you protect yourself and allow you to provide help to others.

There are several organizations set in place to help people under riskful health situations. This is an organized list of the main groups that will provide support in times of need and will help protect you or someone you care about.

MISSING PERSONS TOOLKIT

The Ka Ni Kanichihk Missing Persons and Persons at Risk Toolkit was made by the family members of people who have gone missing. In addition to a thorough missing persons toolkit, there are several resources. 

NATIONAL INQUIRY

In 2019, the Government of Canada concluded its National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. Its website has information about its findings, including its Final Report, and resources for aftercare.
